		<description>You need to sand down the ferrule (the white part between the tip and the wood) when the tip is off to make sure it&#039;s flat. Rough up the back side of the tip just a little bit too, then make sure both of those surfaces are clean. Apply the cement and clamp it. I usually leave it overnight, but it depends on the cement.
