I always chalk the shaft frequently during play and tournaments. Slight abrasive from the chalk should keep clean and silky smooth. Cleaning agents will leave an oily residue, possibly causing miscue. That is second best reason for not using house sticks.<br><b>References : </b><br> Never use any household cleansers.
